Medical insurance
At Camas Prairie Eye Clinic, our skilled team is well-versed in collaborating with both medical and vision insurance providers. As part of our ongoing commitment to exceptional customer service, we will liaise directly with your insurance company to process claims related to your eye health and vision care. Our goal is to ensure your understanding of insurance coverage, and we are readily available to address any queries about your benefits. Camas Prairie Eye Clinic is affiliated with many major insurance companies, including:
- Medicare
- Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield
- Regence Federal
- Blue Cross of Idaho
- Idaho Medicard
- Tricare
Vision insurance
Many vision plans are designed to cover basic vision-related expenses, but not all costs associated with eye care. Most plans often require a co-payment for an office appointment as well as additional costs that are covered by the insured patient. If our office does not participate in your vision insurance, our knowledgeable staff can assist you in submitting your vision claim for reimbursement.
We work with various vision insurance providers, including:
- Regence
- U.M.R.
- Northwest Benefit Network (NBN)
- M.S. Administrative
- V.S.P.
- E.S.P.
Medcial & vision insurance
We also work with various providers that provide both medical and vision insurance. Including but not limited to:
- Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield
- VA/Triwest Veteran Program (Referral Required)
- Pacific Source
- Tricare
Eyecare savings plan
For those without vision and/or medical insurance, Camas Prairie Eye Clinic offers customizable a la carte EYECARE SAVINGS PLANS. Choose a plan based on your needs and enjoy instant savings. Commit to a plan to benefit from multiple savings for a year, or purchase a plan as needed (e.g., having medical insurance for eye exam services but lacking vision insurance for glasses).

Payment options
Dr. Lane and her team recognize that cost is a consideration when choosing vision care providers. We aim to remove financial obstacles to maintaining proper eye health and good vision. We accept various forms of payment and are open to discussing financing options with you before any examination. Accepted payment methods for out-of-pocket expenses include:
- Cash
- Local Personal Check
- Visa & Mastercard
- Care Credit
- Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
- Health Savings Accounts (HSA)
We are pleased to provide you with a cost breakdown either before your appointment or during your visit. Professional charges are due in full on the day of your examination, and a 50% payment is required before ordering glasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses.
